Power Up Protein Bars
Back when I was playing football (soccer), I was always searching for the best source of energy—something quick, tasty, and easy to grab. If only I’d known how simple it is to make protein energy bars at home! These no-bake bars check all the boxes: delicious, convenient, and packed with fuel. Keep a batch in the fridge or freezer and grab one whenever you need a healthy boost. You won’t regret it.

YIELD: 14 bars
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup just björn marine collagen
  • 1/2 cup protein powder – vanilla or chocolate
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup a mix of dried cranberries and almonds
How to Make It
  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until well combined. The dough should be fairly soft. If it’s too dry add some more honey or a little bit of water, a little bit at a time until the correct consistency.
  2. Place a sheet of parchment paper onto an 8x8 inch sheet pan and press the mixture very firmly into the pan
  3. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting the bars
  4. Cut and store bars in fridge or freezer
