String Beans with Pecans

Green string beans with roasted pecan nuts is a simple side dish that pairs well with turkey or chicken. Makes a perfect veggie side for Thanksgiving!

Ingredients
  • 1 bag green string beans
  • 5 oz whole pecans
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
How to Make it
  1. Rinse and cut of the edges of the string beans
  2. Heat up a large skillet to high and add olive oil
  3. Add the string beans and cook for 4-5 minutes
  4. Add the Pecan nuts and cook for 3-4 minutes more
  5. Salt to taste (don’t be stingy on the salt, but use good salt)
