Collagen Protein Blast Smoothie

This is my go-to smoothie. The combination of banana, spinach and mango make this smoothie both healthy and delicious. It’s good for the immune system, good for your eyes, full of antioxidants and vitamin A, C, K1 and B6 as well as potassium and iron. Add that to the protein goodness of just björn collagen and you have the perfect post workout smoothie. I use maca root powder for additional energy, but if you want to skip the maca that it is fine. I love the taste, texture, and the wellness it gives me.

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup ice cubes 
  • ¼ cup frozen mango cubes
  • 1 whole banana, peeled
  • ¼ cup packed fresh spinach
  • 2oz skyr (Icelandic style yogurt, I use coconut or vanilla flavor)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 packet (1 serving) just björn marine collagen 
  • 1 scoop whey protein, vanilla (10grams)
  • 1 tsp maca powder (optional)
How to Make It
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender, blend until smooth and enjoy
