One of the questions I get quite often is: “Björn, if I’m taking both Marine Collagen and Marine Chitosan, how should I use them during the day?” I love that question because the pairing really complements one other beautifully. It’s become such an easy habit that I don’t even think about it anymore. For me it’s usually blended into a smoothie, mixed into coffee, or simply stirred into water. Taking Marine Collagen early in the day works well for me to provide support and overall recovery throughout the day. The amino acids help support the body’s natural collagen production. This small daily habit adds up over time resulting in healthier skin, stronger hair and nails, and support for joints and connective tissues.
Midday—add in Marine Chitosan
Lunch for me might be something simple like eggs, fish, a sandwich, or another satisfying meal. That’s an optimal time for me to take Marine Chitosan. Unlike collagen, which works as a structural protein, Marine Chitosan is a functional fiber that works in the digestive system. Dinner is often when the day’s largest meal happens. For me that might be something like salmon, cod or chicken, vegetables, potatoes or something hearty and balanced.
